The day-to-day happenings of beautiful twin girls

Snuggly Sophie

Here's our beautiful Sophie J. She decided last week that her new love is cats, and she also just started snuggling with anything fuzzy. How cute is this?
This sort of tickles...
This was the face she made all last week. We thought it was pretty funny, but now we think it was because her sinuses and ear were tickling and weirding her out - the precursor to what she's dealing with now.
Oh, how can you resist such sweet eyes? I absolutely cannot.

Please pray for us and especially for Sophie because she is still dealing with RSV and a brand new ear infection. We leave for CA in 24 hours and she is still a disaster. I keep thinking that she'll turn the corner but she keeps being pitiful. We need a miracle here. :)

Sweet Aida

Here's our big girl Aida, who has also now learned how to climb into this chair and makes it her daily mission to test the "no standing in the chair" rule.
Look, Mom, I'm so sweet and good.  Go ahead and walk away to see what Sophie's yelping about.
Ha ha, she's gone, standing mode: begin.
This is just the beginning of her giant smile.  Aida has been perfecting an open-mouth, toothy, silly grin that makes me laugh and melts my heart.  I love it.

St. Nicholas Party

Between an ear infection, 2 cases of RSV (!), and typical day-to-day craziness, it's been awhile since I've been able to post. These are pictures from Uncle Tom and Aunt Kibble's St. Nicholas Day party earlier in the month.

Here's Sophie, making off with the Baby Jesus:
And Aida, checking it all out:
They LOVED the stairs, and once they had discovered them we couldn't get them away. Here are the girls and Nathaniel, getting ready for a race:
Everybody (well, the 3 kids) got Christmas pjs:

I will do my best to put a few more pictures up before we head to Santa Barbara on Saturday. (yay!)

Just Hanging Out

Some special time with my girlies (and Elijah, who got to be camera man):
Sophie posing for the camera - she's catching on!
Aida - so ready to walk it's ridiculous!

Thanksgiving with TN family

An early Thanksgiving celebration with Grampsy, Grammy, Uncle Bryson, Aunt Erica, and Auntie Beth:
Thanksgiving with great grandmother Gran Margaret:
And Thanksgiving #2 with Giggee:

Not to mention a stop in there to see my grandparents, Mimi and Granddaddy! It was a full day, but the girls did great - they weren't too excited about the turkey, though. The dressing, on the other hand, was eaten by the handfuls...
