We were so thankful to have my mom, aka Nana, in town last week. While she was here she watched the girls so I could get some unpacking done, spent lots of time playing with us, and...did what grandmothers are supposed to do, I guess, by spoiling them and introducing them to the joys of candy.
It was actually the cutest thing. She had a bag of lollipops in her suitcase that she had brought along for her plane rides, and one night Sophie was snooping and discovered them. Only, in her innocence she thought they were balls. Oh sweet girl, she grabbed more and more and kept saying, "Ball! Ball!" Aida joined in the fun and I was feeling so good about my parenting skills (ha!) and the fact that my girls didn't even know what candy was. Then, Aida decided to just get rid of that annoying paper covering up the ball. The rest is history, as you can see.
Yes, that would be 4 lollipops at once.
Aida loved the eating but she hated those sticky hands. Please note the blue face.
We miss you, Nana!
